Project Overview
This project focused on transforming a new build garden in Lancaster into a more practical and well-balanced outdoor space. The design improves flow, usability, and structure while keeping a natural, soft finish through thoughtful planting.
Project Objectives
Increase usable patio space for seating and entertaining
Improve access and movement between garden levels
Create a stronger central feature and focal point
Soften hard landscaping with surrounding planting
Design and Planning
The patio was extended to create a larger, more functional seating and entertaining area. Central steps were widened to form a more open and welcoming connection to the lower tier, improving both access and visual flow. Sleeper-edged features add structure and definition, while surrounding planting beds soften the layout and bring the garden together naturally.
